3 Amigos

Gustavo, Bogart and Pepe enjoy the delicious food at the Broadway Applebys. They avoided the use of air distress bags for the entire meal. I found out that Bogart is an actual, real psychiatrist in Puerto Rico. I said "hello" to him, and he said, "What did you mean by that?"

Cyndi and Walter

They come from the tippey-top tip of New Jersey. Cyndi and Walter are becoming regulars for ABBA-Day events.
|
Pepe and Me

Pepe and Ron before an evening of pure enjoyment at Mamma Mia.
|
Vinny, George and Munch

Vinny came to the dinner and went to the show. George and Munchkin (Miltali) came to the dinner only (along with Lars, of whom I only photographed his right hand -- see right edge). Hi guys!

It's Bjorn at the finish

Bjorn Ulvaeus took a bow and made a delightful speech about how Broadway was always the shining example of the place to be in the entertainment world, especially for being the "dumb Swede" (his words, not mine) that he was.
|
Proclamation time

Bjorn was thanked for dedicating some of the profits from the 5th Anniversary of the show to the Actors Fund, which helps poor actors (not like Bjorn). The proclamation reads "for being an ass to great organisations like ABBAMAIL," but that's another story.
|
At the stage door

Bjorn signs away. That's Gustavo to the left holding all the junk he picked up that day, including some new stuff that other ABBAMAILers would love to have.
|
and more signing...

Bjorn signs the back of a check made out to me for putting up this site that does nothing but create more favorable publicity for the Fab Four. Thanks, Bjorn! See more pictures on next Mamma Mia fifth anniversary page.
